Croeso i Dosbarth Gwyn!

Welcome to Dosbarth Gwyn's (Year 2's) page....

This term your children have given me lots of ideas on what they want to learn about through our topic 'Our Wonderful world.'

  • We will be learning about what homes and schools were like 100 years ago. A trip has been booked to St Fagans (Monday 9th October) for the children to experience the school room with a Victorian teacher!
  • We will be looking into our own family trees and important events in our lives to plot onto timelines in chronological order.
  • We will also be investigating electrical circuits with conductors and insulators.

I'm sure  that the pupils in Dosbarth Gwyn will have an amazing year this year and I look forward to working with both pupils and parents!
Our Year 2 Welcome Meeting is on Monday 18th September and the dates for our Y2 Parent Workshop are as follows: Tuesday 10th October and Thursday 12th October. I look forward to seeing you all there!

Last of all...please remember to read regularly with your child and to return their books and planners daily as groups are continually changing.

Thank you for your continued support.

Miss H Davies
