  • The school undertakes the following activities in order to support pupils facing the challenges of poverty and deprivation
    • To improve teaching of literacy and numeracy
    • To develop literacy and numeracy skills across the curriculum
    • To increase the provision of literacy and numeracy intervention programmes
    • To continue to support the professional development of staff
    • To further develop effective pupil tracking systems
    • To continue to improve the quality and consistency of teacher assessment
    • To increase pupil participation and engagement in all aspects of school life
    • To develop provision for More Able and Talented
    • To continue to build on children’s ICT skills and use of digital technology
    • To improve the levels of family engagement and the capacity of parents to support their children’s learning at home and in school
The school’s PDG, SEG and WEG Plans are regularly scrutinised by the Governing Body, supported by advice from the EAS and monitored by the Local Authority
